BRandon eastep

It all started in 2000-01 when Brandon wanted to take pictures of him and his buddies skateboarding. From there it turned into wanting to make skateboarding videos. Fast forward to 2014 when the hobby turned into a professional pursuit. In 14′ he enrolled at FullSail Universities Cinematography program. It wouldn’t be long into college that Brandon would get his first opportunity to work in a professional setting while finishing up getting his bachelors. There he got to work on high budget commercial shoots and was the assistant editor for most of that time. Once the work began to slow down, he needed to find something stable so he went into the IT field. In late 2020 after not being behind a camera for awhile, the spark ignited once again. That brings us to the beginning of Riverbed Media, the brainchild of Brandon and his best friend Jackson. Neither accounted for what would happen that year in the world but used that time to dial back into the craft of filmmaking. It didn’t take long for things to change when an opportunity to film a video for a race team came about. Brandon has a strong connection to motorsports, he grew up with his dad racing and his older brother working for various teams throughout the years. So when this opportunity came, it sparked something that he hadn’t planned on doing, motorsports video marketing! Over the course of two seasons, he hasn’t gotten to work with a four track champions one of which won a national championship. He also produces a Youtube Channel for Cody Bryant Racing called PartsBarn TV which consists of behind the scenes on race day. Riverbed Media may have changed from the original business plan but it’s in a good place.
